Default 4 door eg project

: )
Ive had this 1993 Civic LX for two years now. my parents bought it for me to learn how to drive. Wel... Ive learned, not its time to build... I just ordered a new fender, and 2 new quarter panels from www.fixmyrust.com for a total of $140.. other plans besides new quarter panels and fender is;
-Paint (Stock Milano Red, coming right after quarter panels and small dings are complete)
-Lowering (Adjustable Coilovers)
-Rims (Low offset)
-Front and Rear JDM lip
-and within the next 4months, a 5 Speed Swap to a frankenstein engine (B20 bottom end/ B16 top end)

Ill be cutting out and welding in the new quarter panels with in the next 2 weeks.. I will put up a step by step guide of how to do so... Ill keep everyone posted!

No cutting, no welding. Converted my toy sedan last summer with the Innovative auto-manual mount. Piece of cake.

The word "Hard" shouldn't be involved. Well, I brought my EG Sedan into my shop and cleaned the back up and pulled my old d15b7 POS motor and 4 Speed Auto out in about one hour. pulled the dash out in about 35 minutes. after that my car sat their a week untill i came across a sweet deal. A 94 civic Si 5spd but with no title from my brother for $200. got it parked it into the back of the shop right next my my lonely EG 4 door. and pulled everything off of it. this car took a little more time to get everything apart cause it had Power steering and ac and all the stock goodies that i never used in my EG8. took about 2 hours and had it all pulled apart. loaded it in my homeboys truck and went and power washed it came back dropped it in. ran the p28 5 spd ECU and everything was plug and play. axcels everything. and where the stick goes that is just easiest part of doing the swap. the 4 doors where the stick goes was alrready their only has a cover and 2 10mm bolt holding a plate you take those off and the stick goes right at home.

Where the pedals are you just take your complete assemble off and install the new assemble. where the hydraulic clutch cyl goes theirs another plat with 2 10mm bolts take them off and install the clutch master cyl.

its pretty much only takes time. if you never done this it will take probably 5 day to 10 days. cause your gonna run into problems.

your gonna have to replace them. I work at a body shop and you can fix those but will take to much time and still in the end will be wavy and not perfect. get them from the junk yard with little dings and bondo the dings.

0, And the 5spd tranny you can get from any car from the junk yard dont have to be 4 door. as long as its a hydraulic tranny. pedals and everything you can get from any honda.

Just PM me if you need any help throughout your 5spd swap. or keep us updated on here.

0, and just for advice on buying trannys,motors from junk yard is to buy the warranty that they offer you. I bought and installed a auto tranny and was bad went back bought one more without warranty and was bad also. this is me trying to save $20 for lunch and gas lol. don't be a cheap *** like me. it will bite you in the ***. although auto tranny screw up way more than 5spd's just be on the save side don't waste $80.
