Starting a build on a 240sx. First car i ever bought was a 240 about 6 years ago, sold it, now found another one. I found this awesome deal (thanks splitime Dave) on a 1992 240 roller with very very little rust. Nothing on the frame rails, strut towers, rear end, floor pans. Just a decent area in the bay under where the original battery box was. It being an original Texas sure does help, our Midwest salty roads hates these things. Well i guess for now i will just post pictures, since thats what we all click threads for.
This will be a really really slow build. I basically pick it up to just pass the time when i am bored, no set date for anything. So i will update when i can.
Here is how i pick the car up (05-16-09).

All the parts and extra parts. Woot woot.

At the end of the first day. Got all the door and hatch weather stripping on. Swap out the manual doors for the power doors. Put on the tail lights. Bolted on the hatch. Bolted on the hood. Did some sorting out of parts.

Having a BBQ right next to your build is in fact a most excellent idea I may have to adopt.

Small update. Finally swap over the harness. So now i have the power windows and power mirrors linked.
Dash out.

Everything out. As i was taking the harness out i notice alot of little plastics pieces behind my heater core. It was the stock firewall deadening. So I also removed the dash bar and heater boxs to get it all off.

Powered harness on the left, base on the right. Nothing special.

Mostly put back together. Have to figure out where a couple connectors go since i dont remember or are different lol.

Just put it all back together for now so i dont forget how it goes lol. I will be once again removing everthing to dry ice the deadening on the rest of the car.
