I've had my s2000 over 4 years and want you all to know that struggles we've been threw

Comment and criticism is welcome but I really don't care
my old car
2003 Ford Focus SVT
Racing is bad
(I had a paper cut from accident I got lucky)

Day 1

Found some rims and installed Tein S techs

Vis OEM hood

Wanted to go lower so Koni shocks

I realized i wasnt so change happened
I got RPF1
HOMECOMING I

Got in accident Canyon racing

I picked up M racing Mirrors and an Amuse bumper

I talked a friend into selling his J's Racing Type V hood, I also sold my shocks and spring and got buddy club N+ coilovers

I got a mastergrade trunk

I lost to a civic so I started engine mods
I bought aem v2, berk header, berk test pipe, and invidia V1 exhaust w/ apexi neo tuned at church

I thought I was done with the car I went to eibach meets and IE tech days I became great friends with the IE crew :spank:

I went to more meets

Re: 03supers2k Build Thread
I wanted an authentic Mugen hardtop and didn't want to wait couldn't find one so I decided to get a IIGQ4U Carbon Kevlar hardtop (Mistake)

I didn't like it like i pictured it in my brain so I got it painted, also finally got my J's racing diffuser 5 month wait from Logic motorsports and got my amuse repainted
J's meet

I thought I was done again but I got beat by a 335i on the freeway
So i got a bike

I got in alot of accidents that thing is a beast but the fast feeling from a car and bike are different so I started researching boost :badger:

I had my first photoshoot

Made a Video also
Ap1 photoshoot Video
Finally found a Kit
Rev-hard Kit

I didnt know anything about turbo's and tuning so i took it to bisimoto he didnt tune it correctly and 2months later ap1 motor went bye bye. :faint:

I bought a new f22c motor, gt3071r turbo, NT03 17x9.5 +38 and got retuned Autowave

330whp 260trq on dyno dynamics
I got revenge for that 335 on a M3 and M5
Wasabi, Randizzle, and bserious inspired me and I wanted to set myself apart so thought about Rims, and I couldnt find rims that I really loved or called my name so I decided to get something no one has so I ordered 17x9.5 +22 Volk re30 Championship White from JLB. Everyone I knew told me No and they wont fit but I did it anyways.

4 months later Rims arrive

That looks wrong to me. Thats 17x9 +22 so I sent wheels back and Volk will air mail wheels to me
3 months later

While having the Vis asm fenders they didnt fit my fitment standard so I bought Shine front and rear fenders with these wierd things

I'm feeling satisfied with my car now

I test fit rims with my vis fenders 245/40/17f 255/40/17r maybe 265/40/17r tires No bueno

Add camber kit -5.5 camber still No bueno

Screw it everyone was right. I take car to my buddy house and put on the rear over fenders

I notice my front lights and starting to look old so i search for ap2 headlights and tails
I put on Shine fender and take car to body shop to get repainted My body guy is going to extend the fender .5" which is why i didnt buy authentic fender

I'm going for a clean look so bye bye all carbon fiber
Looks what came BNIB AP2 HEAD/TAILS

Car will be done it three weeks

skunk2 unmeet 2.0

Sorry for pictures of the rear exhaust and amuse front bumper weren't perfect. My exhaust is off center and the car has been to the exhaust shop so the exhaust is perfect now. I also realigned my front bumper. Everything is setting flush perfect and ready for the next photoshoot.

I got the car tuned 440/33*trq

Re: 03supers2k Build Thread
With all this time and money invested in the car, why risk it all on the street? Not to mention that its all hearsay, considering its not a legitimate sport. Seems like an enormous waste of a nice car, to me. I would never take pride in saying who I've "beat" in some street race. But, nice car, none the less.

I find it hard to believe that Bisimoto tuned the car wrong, and if he did he would surely stand behind the tune and do something to correct the situation. Not a fan of the after like the third picture.

He didnt have any experience tuning on my log manifold he was use to tuning on equal length and superchargers and they are all tuned very differently its ok It all worked out in the end

I wouldn't say it's a waste of the car really, I mean street racing yea. There's always that chance of an accident and what not, but bad things can happen anywhere.

Besides, I'd rather see a car built to be used, regardless of whether it's the street or track, than all of these other cars built with "legit" and race tested parts, but never see a track.

People are going to street race, just like people will keep doing drugs, or politicians in scandals. What matters is how you do it. Street racing isn't inherently dangerous, it's how most people tend to go about it. I.e.: racing on crowed freeways, main streets, etc. But if it's an area like an industrial district, and no one is around but the people racing, then they're only taking the chance of hurting themselves.

Regardless, nice car man. Always loved the red interior on those. Front fender feels a bit to.... dunno how to word it. Not thought out? Just doesn't seem to flow all to well.

I agree. Actually I dont race alot probably barely ever and I've picked every part because I really liked them at some point. The fenders are agressive I did want to keep stock body, but I wanted those wheels, really bad and I've never seen those specs fit on an S2000 without going widebody. I feel the car looks great for not being a widebody and if the fitment of some parts were better Id be extremely happy

Yes, it is, there is a big difference between a controlled environment like a track versus a public road that is open to everybody at all times who aren't expecting people to be racing around on it.

Anyway, very cool S2000. I love the clean lines on these cars, and I think they take well to being busied up, too, so I really like the hood, roof, and trunk lid. I agree about the front fenders - the way they come out toward the top and then they have the really squared-off edge looks a little funky and angular against the bubble-round rear fender flares. I'd reckon you'd want one or the other but not both. The splitter is awesome and goes well with the front bumper, and I somehow always love white wheels on silver cars. Really neat car, man

Re: 03supers2k Build Thread
Hence why I pointed out that racing on the streets in crowed areas is nothing but an accident waiting to happen. A closed, or contained environment means no one but the people racing are there. Which plenty of people do, as not all cities have drag strips. And I'm not just talking about this country.

Now don't misunderstand me, I'm not condoning it in anyway. I'm stating a fact that it won't be going away. So wouldn't it be the best idea possible to try and make it as safe as possible?

Just saying it's wrong, and people that do it are stupid and whatever other choice of words one might use, is just more reason for those people to go out and race on the streets more.

However, I'm pretty sure no one wants tho intentionally wreck their car racing on the street. So I'm damn sure they wouldn't mind racing in a safer area. Mind you you're still going to get those jackasses that like going 100+ weaving in and out of traffic, but that's more about a persons mental stability, than it is an issue about street racing, lol.
