skunk2 tb install ?? throttle stop??
i bough an used skunk2 pro 70mm tb...and it came with no tps and the throttle stop was missing...i bough it n got a tps from an old tb..now how do i adjust the butterfly and tps...since they are both loose?
if i adjust tps 1st then the readings will be off when i open/close the butterfly a lil more..

Skunk2 throttle bodies have the butterfly bolts loctite in place. If the blade is loose thats a good indication someone has taken it apart before. Put the bolts back in with some red loctite and tighten everything up.
If you need a throttle stop email me at BrianN@skunk2.com and I will get you one. You need to install the throttle stop and set the butterfly so that it is as closed as possible WITHOUT touching the actual bore of the throttle body.
Once thats done you can set TPS. If you set TPS before setting throttle stop your settings will get skewed when/if you make any changes to the throttle stop.
