on a d series engine the crank pulley turns clockwise or counterclockwise?

trying to take the crank pulley off. i figured if it turned clockwise i could use the turning force of the engine to knock it loose.

counterclockwise.


get a pulley gear holder and 1/2 inch extinsion.
