Default Help with VTEC controller

I have a ACT vtec controller installed on my GSR. I started noticing my engine wont rev over 6500 rms. How would i fix it? Should i just remove the vtec controller all together or is there a way to reset it? HELP!!

vtec controller = complete waste of money imho, just sell it and buy a good chipped ecu
