Default First test-BP Stack vs Prototype Stack. Mild H22.

I have had the BP velocity stack in my hands for a couple of days now and I finally got an opportunity to do a little test. Thomas (a friend I work with) was doing a little tuning on his car and allowed me to test these two intakes on his car. The car has a stock bottom end with a mild ported head, some Jun cams and a Hytech header. Tuned on a brand new Hondata S300 . With his intake the car made 240 Dynapack HP. We pulled his filter and installed the BP V-Stack on the end of his intake and made two passes. Then we installed the Prototype V-stack and made two more passes. The graph below is the best pass on each. No additional tuning was performed, and the A/F was almost perfect for both intakes. The graph speaks for itself, the BP stack bumped up the peak HP and torque nicely, without sacrificing anywhere. The Prototype stack also did very well, but the BP stack looks like the winner of this little test.

Good to see Bryan's design working well.

Bryan, I'm impressed.

Splitting hairs, but the BPi does have a slight edge. Good to know the work I did paid off with some tangible results.

Thank you Todd for your time in performing this testing.

Hello Bryan:

Do you have these available for sale? Email me (mpg5308@yahoo.com) with details when you have a chance. I would like to put one of these on a slightly modified H22 we have here in Puerto Rico.

Regards,

Please do, I'm very interested to see the results with the filter on. Thanks for the dyno comparison Todd.

I'd really like to get a velocity/flow stack along with a k&n filter to replace my passwordjdm power chamber whale *****, but I'm unsure as to where I can get an intake tube for the stack. Does anyone know where I can get one to make the stack worth while?

Tuned with intake vs same intake with the BP Flow Stack.

Not that it matters, but the dyno was with JUN cams not Skunk cams.

thanks to Todd for again sharing useful information with us all-motor heads

and props to Bryan for putting some thought and work into designing a great product.

this is on my list to buy when I get closer to the end of my current motor build. as in closer to having a running motor.

unless I go with individuals...
