im sure its not a rod knock you can tell its comming from the top end, it might be a broken valve sping, what im going to do this week, or next depending on how much over time i can put in, im going to take the valve cover off and position piston one at Top dead center and remove the Rocker arm assembly by lossening the camsaft bearing cap bolts and then the retaining bolts and slip the rocker arms, spring and collars and bearing caps off the shafts then check the oil holes in the shafts if they are plugged, and ill check other stuff like surfaces of the shafts that the rocker arm rides on, and all the bearing surfaces inside the rocker arms for wear, and take a look at which ever else i can find and then clean it all up and make sure it fits. Hopefully ill find something, if it is the bottom end or a huge repair then i will just do a B16 Swap or B18 its just it would be nice if i could fix this engine becuase then i would have a 99 civic si on the road for not much, if anyone else got any opionions or anything tell me, beucase i have only did something like this once before
