B18B1 HEAD BUILD
 
tell me what u think or what i can improve

its a p75 head gonna run stock valves with stage 2 crower springs and retainers with crower 403 all motor cams gonna port match the head to the gaskets so maybe a 1/16 of an inch port maybe lil more a then polish it

them polish the intake many run obd1 injectors and aem fuel rail and regulater

ganna run it on s300 hondata with a tune

just looking for opinion let me know what u think

You might as well upgrade your valves too since you upgrading everything else in the head.

Ok.and.do u think I would-be ok to run different. brands.of. valve springs. pending they have to be grower

Spring rates are based on the mass of the valve train and the lift, velocity, and accelerations that the valve will see. The last three are determined by the cam design. For that reason, unless you know what you are doing (if you have to ask, you don't!), best bet is to stay with one manufacturer. They have done the work for you.

You have to open up the combustion chambers to use them or get a p8r head. I recommend the latter.

what kinda power gain do u think I could.make with. the upgrades I posted

and what would.be. better square port.and.port.match the gasket

Personally, If i were going to build a non vtec head, it would be the P8R like Spadam suggested. Larger valves + better flow.. whats not to like?

do a search and familiarize yourself with it. Flows close to a B16.

ok and the cams i got for my ls will fit in the p8r head and was wondering

for the stage 2 crower cams do i have to run there springs or can i run any type of valve springs as long as there duel valve springs
