Hood Dampers

Now correct me if I am wrong but I was under the assumption that hood dampers are basically suppose to eliminate you having to use the stock hood prop, that being said, WHY THE F UCK DOES THIS CLOWN HAVE THE HOOD PROP UP WITH HIS HOOD DAMPERS?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

don't hood dampers raise the hood kinda low? maybe the stock hood prop raised the hood higher for whatever he needed it for

Re: (kwicksilverdc5)

I have a set of Tein hood dampers and i read somewhere in the instructions or something that they are to only be used to help raise the hood in case it is too heavy for someone. It says that you should not rely on them to hold the hood up and the stock hood prop should still be used. Just my .02.

why would it bother you so much that you had to ask a question about him making a thread about it?
