Default 5 speed accord transmission in 02 rsx type s

I have a 5 speed accord transmission that’s has speed sensor located at the front of trans in my 03 rsx type s, I do have a kpro also. I was wondering if I switched the pins on the speed sensor plug to correspond to the sensor at the transmission then supply it with 5v would I be able to just change the type of speed sensor on hondata to have speedo and vtec work ?? I’m currently having issues getting vtec to engage and speedo to work. I have heard about k tuned converter but was wondering if I can go this route instead being that I have a k pro. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

If your K-Pro was installed by the techs at Hondata... maybe. In my experience, re-wiring the VSS to the front sensor and using the work around in the K-Manager software works about 30% of the time. This is why I would also recommend the K-Tuned VSS converter.
