The shorter oil pan behind it makes me think dry sump.

Definitely a dry sump system. Looks like a 3 or 4 stage modular pump.

Another view:

Seems to me, this would solve the whole oil starvation problem (provided you track an NSX hard enough).

For some one who proclaims to have such great knowledge about engines, NSX, etc. I am quite surprised at this topic. Very surprised.

I knew knew knew knew knew you'd say something about the intake man. I forget where I saved that pic from but it was from a while ago. You should put it on your NSX, David.

I'm surprised SOS, DA, or Comptech haven't offered a dry sump to the NSX community yet. Price would seem to be generally on par with a baffled pan and Accusump.

The grey segments are the dry sump oil pump.
With a Weldon mechanical fuel pump on the end. Fairly common.
When you order a dry sump, you can tell the manufacturer that you're going to drive a mechanical fuel pump off the end of it. They build it as if it's going to have an extra oil segment - and that's where you'll bolt up the mechanical fuel pump.

You know there is at least another 15-20 hp in your motor waiting to get out, Shawn. Stop choking the poor thing.

I think there's much more than that even. As much as 40rwhp. I can't even rev to 8rpms before the thing strangles itself at 7k.

You should ginuea pig this dry sump system. Let me know how it works out.

That engine definetly looks extremely familiar.
It's a dry sump, mechanical fuel pump, Hogan intake (dual injectors for twin turbo's)
