Default Air Conditioner

My 1995 NSXT air conditioner fan control isn't working on auto or if i move the button up to full. Sometimes when i push the two air flow buttons on the left on and off you can hear the flap in the console open or close and then the fan comes on and the air con works fine. Then other days it doesn't work at all. Any clues as to whats wrong and how i can fix it?

AC issues are usually due to failing capacitors on the control circuit board.

Do you have a diagram I can give a tech to be able to replace them?
Got in the car this morning, moved the Temp control **** and the Fan speed ***** up and down a couple of times then changed the Air flow ***** a couple of times and the next thing the air con starts working fine. Its really annoying as the days here in Western Australia are hot at the moment.

NSX Climate Control Repair

There aren't any diagrams, I fixed mine myself and just ordered the appropriate capacitors after opening it up and seeing what was already there. Most people just send them to Brian K. at NSX E repair I linked above.

Hi,
I own a Honda NSXT 1995 model. After reading all the posts on faulty air conditioners I just had the all the capacitors changed on the control unit circuit board, but the fan still doesn't work. With the vents and the clock out of the dash as i am driving, I can feel cold air coming through the hole but when i stop so does the air, The fan simply isn't working. Anyone got any clues why the fan doesn't work or where in the car I can i find the fan unit, so i can test that on its own, as it may or may not be faulty. Need this working quickly as we are having days of 36 to 43 degrees Celsius her in Western Australia at the moment and without the air conditioner working the car is a hot box.
Cheers Eddie

Make an account on the NSXPrime forum and ask in the electronics section there. This section of H-T is mostly dead I’m afraid. I haven’t really dug into my AC system enough to be super helpful.
