Just a little track update. Just spent the day at Gingerman Raceway yesterday... and the MC held up with 0 issues. Not that I expected it would have issues... but its always nice to see that a product can handle the abuse a trackday tosses at it.

btw.... i felt like a power shifter during high speed sections... could pop through gears so quickly... and heel toe was even less work.

I'll be at WMHM. Just come find me.
I'll also be at ClubSI Gman on the 20th.

Oh and add 2 more track days out at the ITR expo to the list of my abuses of this part https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Look into Tilton Racing Master Cylinder. This thing replaces your MC and completely removes your slave by putting a bearing inside the tranny (yes you have to remove tranny to install) that engages and disengages the clutch. It makes a stiff clutch feel about 2 stages less stiff. pricey though $350.00

This is my opionion would be better than the omni setup.

Here is a pic of what they sorta look like. Your application may look different.

For someone with a Stage 459943xxx.... clutch you might be right. But that replacement seems like a lot more work and designed merely to lessen pedal pressure. It has nothing to do with reducing clutch pedal distance and increasing shifting speed.

Don't forget... my review is on a 22mm one from Omni... the stiffest model.

_Spugen_ 05-31-2005 12:07 PM

Hrrmm...This sounds like a cool little mod for my slow ass d15..

.....but this thread is about the omnipower clutch MC!

And how does the tilton unit compare in terms of clutch pedal travel?

Shadowhunter 06-02-2005 07:16 AM

That's really interesting, I'll have to keep my eye on this product.

gets all https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif's up from me! Recieved one on a trial basis a little less than a year ago, daily drove it, and made a few passes at BOTI. Very noticable difference.
will be running this quicklutch again this season https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif
