Must have hit a pole backwards.

Either that or the person driving that car had such bad flatulence that the rear of the car ignited when he/she passed wind.

The back end of my Karmann Ghia looked worse than that.

I was rear-ended by a Camaro (which weighs about 1600 lbs. more than my Ghia) on the interstate. The rear bumper was pushed more than half-way over the rear tires, and theres an engine back there, folks. The cops said he must have been going at least 25 mph faster than I was, and I was going 65.

I still miss that car sometimes.

 

I wonder what happened...
