Page 129 of my 97 Owner's Manual lists "Clean antenna mast" under the severe condition maintenance schedule @ 15 K mile increments.

Other than that, you've pretty muche covered everything else. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

P.S. -- Oddly enough it also says that Canadian owners should follow the severe maint. schedule.

Change Tranny Fluid
uh... i took my itr to a local independent repair shop with a good reputation for it's 15k service, and they told me i don't need to change the tranny fluid till 30k. i brought up changing the tranny fluid, but they said i didn't need to worry about it. am i in danger of voiding a warrenty? do i need to take the car back in, or is it a relatively simple proceedure?

I'd never thought i'd see this thread brought up again.

if you have the rear spare jack in the car, you can change the tranny fluid.

Re: FAQ: Acura Recommended Maintenance Schedule (stormywaters)

1 liter will do.

do a search, lots of times this has been put up.

basically theres a drain/fill plug. i think they are 19/17mm respectively, but with my forgetful mind, better look it up.

torque wrench, and a tube/funnel to feed the fluid in. thats it.

if you dont feel confident doing this, just goto the dealer and have them do it.

its a no brainer, but some people arent cut out for even this sort of work. good luck. i believe theres a page on c-speedracing.com that covers this.

edit: (one year later) : i cant believe i said 1 liter....prolly closer to 2-2.2 quarts https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmileo.gif
