I’m planning the following exhaust setup on my 1999 DC2 Honda/Acura Integra Type-R (European version with 4 round headlights) and I’d like to check fitment/compatibility before I buy parts.

Planned setup:

• TODA 4-2-1 Exhaust manifold/header
• DC1/DC2 2.5” JDM catalytic converter
• Fujitsubo RM-01A catback
  

My question:
- I have a pretty good offer on slightly used JDM DC1 catalytic converter however I don't know if DC1 catalytic converter is the same (and also with same dimensions) as the one used in JDM DC2 Integra Type-R?
- On "JP-carparts" I found these two share the same part no.: 18160-PCT-000.

Car details: 1999 Integra Type-R (DC2), EUDM spec, stock engine/transmission mounting points.

Thanks in advance for any experience or measurements — I’d rather know now than pay to modify an expensive cat or cat-back later.

A basic Google search will tell you they don't use the same engine.

 

no it will not fit, the dc1 is a single cam d series, so the piping will be a lot smaller diameter, and the length will be wrong, the jdm dc2 itr cat is also shorter than the usdm itr cat the jdm itr header is longer,,,, so you will need a cat specifically for the jdm dc2 itr
