Sure...paint? Anything will work. I don't see why you are so paranoid about the engine code. Just dont' show people...

its not really for me, its for a friend, and lets say if i went b20, people say pop your hood, wheres the 1st place they look?

Well the block is aluminum just grind it off and wet sand it down to smooth it all out.I think it would look alot cleaner and less suspicious,than a piece of metal JB welded on or duct tape.

Everytime i pop my hood and they see "B18C"--there is always someone that will insist its not a Type R because its not "B18C5" when EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER'S know's JDM motors do not have #'s after the Block code!!! They had the nerve to tell me it wasnt an ITR manifold and that it was INDEED a B16 manifold!!!! My tranny does not say LSD either(chemically rubbed off i guess when cleaning it), thats when i show them the 2wheel burnout feature. Hopefully that sets their minds straight. UGHhhh some people just drive me crazy.
