when i bought my gsr about a month ago it had the wrong size tires 55 instead of 50 i was wondering, im about to lower my car should i get 50's b4 i do this( i always planned on gettin 50's) just wanna know if it would be better to wait to drop it until i get the right tires. thx

 

55? As in 195/55R15? That's the stock tire size for GSR's (94+). 195/50/15's are just a smidgin shorter on the sidewall height.

 

What size tires would be good too get better acceleration on 15's?

For accelaration, you should be looking for the tire that offers the smallest circumfrence. I think 195/50/15 (we're talking stock Honda 15, right?) is the smallest tire for the 15, in that regard. Also, the shorter side wall gives you better side wall rigidity to prevent roll over during high lateral G operation.
