depends on the condition, mileage, accident/repair history, etc...

From an insurance perspective, you might pay more for the GSR versus the LS.

That sound is not the vtec, it is the sound of the secondary runners opening up on the intake manifold.

well if the car is in good condition and low miles, then y not?? if its a strate trade anyway. if ur adding cash on top of that, well then that would depend on how much cash.

damn there are sooo many discussions that lead to when vtec kicks in, and when the secondaries open lets stick back to the mans trade in huh? IMO if your car is stock then yea, i'd trade it in for the gsr. If i had put money and time into my car I wouldnt want to trade it in for another.

People just like busting ***** here on h-t. We all knew what he was talking about by saying "grueling sound of vtec" but of course someone has to throw in their smartass comment. That sound IS actually because of vtec. If you had NO vtec and your secondaries opened up it would not sound like that, not as mean as while in vtec.

But yea get the gsr dude, you won't regret it. I found my 97 with 44k miles for 11,500. Perfect condition inside and out, leather int, factory maintained, still under warranty. $1500 later I have a 98-01 front and rear with the optional kit and R lip.

VTEC is your friend, unless you wanna go F.I. if so, then stick with the lower C/R of the LS motor.
