wont start(help)
I have a 1993 integra gs with the 1.8 engine. My problem is i cant get any fuel to the filter. I have changed the main relay twice. It was spark but no fuel delivery.I stuck a hose down the tank an I cant hear the pump come on. Well yesterday i was working on it an i noticed that the check engine light comes on when I turn the switch on but never goes off an it should after a couple of seconds. Is this a sign that the ecu has went bad??? I have run out of ideals..
Have you retrieved the stored error codes from the ECU?
If the light stays on then it is either the main relay or ECU, and since you replaced the PGMFI twice, then it will have to be the ecu, check for power going to the ecu at the two yellow/black wires. There is only two of them.
havent pulled code yet its been pouring down rain here for 2 days an i have no garage.what is the easiest way to check the codes. Every thing I have read says to jump the wires but not sure which one to jump. I have 2 plugs under the dash on the passanger side I absolutly dont want to jump the wrong an short some **** out.
