Default Windshield wipers only work when on the highest setting ????

It finally started to rain here in AZ after some 100+ days, anyway my car is a 00 LS with 55,000 miles. Ive only had to use the wipers maybe a couple of times.

Heres my problem, when i turn the wipers to the Int. or 1st setting nothing happens. But when i turn them on to the highest setting they work. They also dont go back to the postion they should (all the way down). I did a quick search under the integra forums and found nothing. TIA.

My CRX has a similar problem (intermittent doesn't work, wipers don't park when you turn them off) but I never got around to testing the switch/motor. Bump for the same problem...

check the stalk that controls the wipers. When mine went out on the civic(same as teg) it did the same thing. Then I had to borrow the one from my teg for my civic. So check it. it all comes off the steering column as one piece.

At least on a 92 Integra, the Integrated Control Module ICM controls the intermittent wiper, but I don't know about the slow speed being out, that could be the switch.

My wipers dont work at all- I have 00 GSR with 46k and when I turn them on I just hear a little clicking noise every 4 seconds coming from above the fusebox or like under the left side of the cluster

Seems like this is a problem in teg's didnt know that. As stated above, im also hearing the clicking noise and it seems to be coming from the driver side kick panel or fuse box area. This sound is only heard when the INT setting is on.

That is the Integrated Control Unit mounted behind your fuse box on the driver's side kick panel. Your wipers should be turning on and off with that click. Did you check your fuses?

the combo switch, (control stalk) i've had three tegs all with various wiper problems its easy to switch out, just pull of the cover and it unplugs and slides out sideways.
