What do you think will look better on my car, 20% in the back 3 windows or 35% on all 5

 

35% all around. Make sure you have the papers just incase some cop pulls you over.

 

Anybody got some pics of 35% tint on a integra or other car?

 

I have 20% all around. Wouldn't go any lighter than that.... IMO.

i had 20% on a civic coupe. nice
getting 50% on the windshield, 35% on side windows, 20% on back side windows and rear window.
gonna be phat in mirror tint...

 

im thinking about tinting my windows too.

im not looking for really dark tint, just a hint of it.

here's a couple of questions, which needs answering.

1: does anyone have pics of different types of shades?

2: will it cost more if you go for a darker shades?

3: will they **** up on the rear windsheid? cause its a bitch cleaning it, im guessing its a bitch tinting it also..

4: how much would it cost to do all 5 windows.

5: and last question, is it a lifetime gurantee, or will it start to **** up in a couple of months....

and a off topic question.... anyone knows a website which sells oem radiator for cheap? i've tried the aftermarket radiator, and its bull ****. it doesnt even come close to meeting for outperforming oem radiators. SHOWA radiators are the best.
the temp needles doesnt even come close to halfway, the one i just got is almost on the halfway point on the temp guage.

 

Get 35%. I just had to rip all my 20% off Just get the legal tint and never have to worry about it.

 

Papers dont do jack ****. If a cop wants to give you a ticket they can and will. What you can do is then goto court and attempt to prove your tint is legal. In MD, cops have a special scale which containt all tint incriments blow 40% (35% is the legal limit). Now the way they **** you is the law states that the limit has to be achieved after going through both window and glass. A normal car window has about a 3-5% tint in it from the factory (glass isnt crystal clear). So your paper wont do much.

Yes, I wanted something more like 20% because it made my black car look amazing. However the poo poo's in MD area, esp state troopers, are big **** goblers and tend to give you tickets for everything! So I told the guy to make my car legal. It does its job, very well infact. After not having tint for a few weeks with having my car parked at school parking lot it got kinda "oven-like" toasty inside where I would have to open all 3 doors and let it vent for a few min then get in. Now I can practically get in and go without problems. It might not look the exact way that I want it, but its better than having to pay 200 down the road to have it get redone.

 

I used to have 35% fronts, 20% rear window (just the one rear).
I got sick of tint.
The only tint I'd do now is 50% rear, 75% fronts. Yes, very very very light.

3. My guy did a lil bit but Im being a picky little **** about it because he used two pieces to make it good but went off the defroster line by about 2 mm in a few places so im making him redo it. Otherwise its great.

I got 20% in rear and 35% in the sides. I live in Socal and it get's hot as f**k here. I regret doing 20/35 though. If I was to do it again, I'd go with 20 or 25 all around. I'd suggest between 25%~35%.

Why would you care, it's not you who's gonna do the dirty work. If you live in a state where you can tint over the 3rd brake light, it'll take longer since they'll have to take off the 3rd brake light too.

Depends on what company tint you go with. I went with Onyx because they had life time warranty and the guys there recommended them. Onyx tint is supposed to last a long time, if not forever, the color will not fade, will not bubble up or peel off. And even if it does crap out on me or whatever, the tint shop will replace them for free. You have to mail it in to receive life time warranty though.

 

that car above, looks stock. i went 15% all the way around and cops are cool i have a friend w/ a lime green crx and white 17" rims (stands out) and he went limo all the way around never been pulled over either...glad i live in idaho sometimes
