i did some search, but could not find the answers i was looking for.

i am planning to swap itr or ctr camshafts in place of my gsr camshafts. valvesprings and retainers will also be upgraded to itr or ctr spec. was wondering if the peeps that has done this pass smog legally? or has anyone pass smog legally with some other aftermarket camshaft? TIA

i live in cali!!

it really depends on your car and its conditions. like is your cat okay, running lean or rich. you dont really have a def answer for that because of so many variables.

 

It should pass smog fine. One of my buddies had CTR cams in his old Si and it passed without a problem.

It also might help if you let people know what state you are in. Different states = diiferent emission laws.
