Default Where to mount VAFC?

Sorry if this topic has been beat to death. I searched and all the pictures were X's as usual. I'm looking for positions to mount my VAFC in my 99GSR. I was thinking right in the current instrument panel. I have seen people with it there and it doesnt block much. Another place ive seen is right above the rear view. That is pretty nice.

Does the VAFC II/VAFC come with the little mounting piece, or do you have to buy that seperate? For teh guys who put it in teh instrument panel, did you just sit it there or like double sided tape it down or what?

The VAFC should come with a mounting bracket and some double sided tape included.
those are good places you mentioned...if you don't smoke, you can mount it where your ashtray goes...

the perfect place is where the ashtray is...even if you are a smoker like myself (yeah yeah, i know smoking is bad)...don't use the tray, it makes the car smell, that's why they put windows in cars lol. anyway, yeah it is a perfect direct fit for the ashtray, almost like it's ment to be there...very nice, a little double stick tape and your set! hope that helps.

I'm afraid to mount mine on the dash(clock), because it would just be that much more noticeable to criminals. I'm really not sure what I want to do yet.

I do, however love teh black on black vafc 2. Will match my black/black interior perfectly
