I just picked up a set of megan coilovers, and I wanna go with a 1finger fender gap, and I wanna know what shocks would hold up and not give me a bouncy ride.. I'm looking to spend around $250.

 

id say go with kyb agx for the money..

I doubt you can find AGX's for $250 unless they're stolen or have alot of miles on them,they're nice though and you could always buy one pair at a time.The Ground Control/Koni Yellow is a popular choice for the DA but approaches an entry level full coilover like Tein Basics.$250 will get you some KYB GR-2's,Tokico Blues,or some Monroes.

 

^^ all of the above are good choices for your drop. u arent going that low so they will all be good. im on AGX's with no finger gap.

would the kyb gr-2's be a good shock for a pretty low drop? and about how much do they run for?

 

You can pick up a set of 4 off Ebay for around two bills,dont expect them to last forever with an extreme drop though,up to 1.5 maybe 2 inches max.

If your going to go cheap, than just use your stock shocks. All the shocks for 250$ price limit are all only stock replacment shocks. Pay for what you get.
