Default What next.......

As of now i have the simple and common AEM CAI, Apexi N1.
Im looking to either buy the JDM DC 4-1 exhaust mani, Apexi VAFC, or Cams.
NOTE: a dyno isnt anywhere near me, at least not that i know of. So ill have to go out of state to tune, which isnt a big prob...i love road trips. inline4 has a special on the JDM DC 4-1 header ($288). They also have a special on the VAFC, not sure the price though, i forgot. Ive thought about ITR cams. I cant afford JUN or TODA or anyhting high dollar right now. I need some of the fellow H-T member to help me out here and decide. eventually ill get have everything i mentioned. I might eventually go OBD1...how much would the mods benefit with the OBD1. Would an ITR cat be to any slight benefit with the exhaust mani/cat-back? Just a thought,

BTW, i have a '00 gsr. Suspension is done as much as i want. (tokico illuminas w/ neuspeed race springs)

In order, what should i do? Any other opinons are accepted.
Yes i know this stuff has been covered numerous times, but i need to know so i can start with the purchases asap.
TIA

go for the exhaust and save for the JUN or TODA cams... 2 or 3 OR B or C stages.... high flow cat helps too... while you're down there. I've got a VAFC< $300 shipping if you want it. Brand new in the box from Diablo. The box is dirty, but only on the outside from sitting in the shop for a month. I'd use it, but it won't work with my DFI Thanks and good luck

he already has an exhaust....i would get the header to complement what you already have and like erik said save up for some toda Bs...either way you'll need the 4 to 1 to help you later on.

what i think you should do:
1. dc header
2. high flow cat
3. skunk2 intake manifold
4. cams
5. vafc
6. cam gears

youre looking at another $1300-$1400 in parts. add $1400 more and u got yourself a turbo kit.

sorry, by exhaust I meant everything that hadn't been done yet... the 4-1 header and a high flow cat (which wasn't listed). sorry for the confusion

Definitely get a header with a 2.5" collector and of course with that you'll need a high-flow cat such as Carsound. From there go with a Skunk2 IM, then VAFC, then finally compression and some aggressive cams (TODA/JUN).
