what is going on here
my car got dynoed I had like 151 whp. I have an AEM CAI(for gs-r but pulled up to fit the skunk 2 manifold, which now has a Big hole on the welding where you bolt it down, and on the other side where it is rubbing against something. the hole is 2 inches by 1 inch.) I have a skunk 2 intake manifold, dc jdm header, N1 exhaust, handata stage 3a, B&M FPR, and 17's. where is my problem??? this is making me kinda of worried. shouldnt I be around 160-170??? it was VERY hot out side and there wasnt like cold air going to the engine except for a little office fan. could it be something simple like haveing electronics on or AC?? that wouldnt really account for 10 hp would it.

Damn man, 151 is l0000w. I dynoed 161 with a short ram and DC 4-2-1 and crush bent exhaust! Might wanna ditch the 17s, probably accounds for 5-10 ormaybe even more HP.
you think I should dyno with my stock wheels?? I still have them. But I think they fuked something up, cause its like a stock gs-r pretty much......... and I know I am much faster. I race all the time against modded cars, with times in the mid 14's and beat/hang with all of them. so something is wrong with the dyno or something was messed up in my car or a combination of both

I dont know , i would do a compression and leakdown test. Maybe try another dyno, they are all different. Have you done any tuning with your Hondata yet? If not, try switching back to the stock ECU. Its just a process of elimination man, start with the most obvious stuff. Good luck

it is the actual intake-- where it bolts to the car -- and the is a big hole in the side of the piping. Also i am not COMPLETELY sure since I have a gsr intake and the skunk 2 intake manifold, they dont really go together, so where the intake connects to the Intake manifold, there may be a gap. It doesnt matter TOO much about the intake and all because by end of summer I'll be going FI. I was just curious if there were any big problems that would require fixing before I get my turbo, or if all these little screwed up things contributed to the shity hp.

If there is a hole in your intake, get it fixed or replaced. You are sucking in unfiltered air! You are not alone, I know other people have had a similar problem with this intake.
how many miles do you have on your car?? my car feels a lil sluggish.. i have a 94 gsr with 150k miles. i can barely beat my friend who has a 2000 accord v6.
i have 85K on it. It is seven years old, but I am beating people as if it were new with the hp i should have, so I am confused. I think my intake, heat, and an incorrect dyno all added up. cause its VERY wierd that I beat cars running mid 14's then I come out with that shitty hp. I dunno. I am gonna throw my stock wheels back on and get my intake fixed and dyno it again. HOPEFULLY my car will be where it is supposed to.
SO what I am thinking.... if it isnt my intake and other things, and my engine IS really not running to its full potential, should I still get turbo??
