Since I'm not getting a z32 300ZX I have decided to try and find a 94-00 Integra GSR.
The first thing im goin to do is a JDM front end conversion and paint, but when it comes to performance what should I do first? I'm a Prelude guy and dont know much about the integra. My goals are to get it to 400+hp. What do you say I should do to reach my goals? What parts do I need to get?
Since I dont know much when it comes to the GSR any info will be helpful.
Thanks,

If I were you I would start off buying a cold air intake, and buying a nice catback exhaust by either HKS, APEXi, Skunk2, or Magnaflow. New header, and engine internals. Then start with maintenence.

why would you suggest performance over maintenance? there's no point in modding a car if the thing keeps breaking
plus the fact he thinks he's going to get big power (400+)...which isn't going to happen...but still if he wants to try for those numbers his only option is to boost it....don't suggest an intake and a header that will be pointless, quite possibly the exhaust too in the event he opts for turbo

if you're a prelude guy, swap a h22 in there. and then your back into your field. but if not your planning to spend a lot of money to get 400+. you should k series boost

1. Leave the JDM front, paint job, and performance aside. Keep up with all of the maintenence and such. You want to make sure the motor's running perfectly fine and healthy before putting any unnecessary parts in.
2. All-Motor route won't ever put down those kind of numbers, so that leaves you with the turbo route.

maybe I shoul of mentioned that if I decide to do this project that it wont be a daily drive. I would take the motor out and rebuild at the colledge and of course im goin to boost it. Since you guys are saying that a 400+hp goal is a little high what should I start off doing to get a good increase in power. I personally dont like the OEM look and perfer the JDM front end conversion. So what should I do since basically my budget will be aroud $8,000

uh a k-swap is expensive and especially when you add boost, a b-series block will be fine for 400+ hp.
you should go with a sleeved block and forged internals to hit 400+ hp, do some research and figure out what turbo set up would be good for what you want.
