A bare head can mean several things are missing.
I will assume everything's missing. Basically, you will need:
Camshafts (Intake/Exhaust)
Valve Springs (Inner/outer, Intake and Exhaust)
Cam covers (possibly cam guides too...LS's have em...not sure about Vtec's)
Retainers
Rockers
Valves
Valve Guides
And all the seals, gaskets that you'll need.
I'm probably missing some stuff, but there's quite a few things you'll need if this is a true "bare" head. Hope it's pretty cheap, if that's what you're getting.

Bare head can also mean that all the above listed items are there, but it could be missing intake manifold, distributor, valve cover, cam gears, etc... Bare could be taken either way... Ask the person selling to be more specific...

if your bare head doesnt have the cam guides i wouldnt buy it....you cant get those separte from the dealer...the only way you could get them is to buy the whole head....
