Weird lag! Someone please help
So i have a jdm b16a in a 90 integra and i boosted it. Everything sounds fine when you start it, have an FMU hooked up thats pretty much it waiting on wideband to get bunged in. Now the problem: When you put it in gear it starts to get really laggy and does not want to go. Has good vac, and also tries to hit boost with the slightest throttle at all.
I continue anythingabout boost but it should be something between air fuel and spark
I've also read something about having your ecu chipped and tuned for turbo ? Hope that helps

throwing a code... one long blink, pause a few seconds then 3 short blinks??? 13 is intake temp but it makes more sense to be codes 3 and 1 which are o2 and map, i have o2 wired in but not in the exhaust yet.....

You need to explain the issue more in depth for us to troubleshoot over the internet. Post up a video or something helpful.
So basically you're telling us you have a turbo car, that is not currently running engine management as the FMU is not hooked up at this time?
FMU's are junk, please help yourself out and buy something useful such as Chrome or Hondata.
Well the codes seem to be pretty self explanatory.........
The problem is the car is probably running too lean/rich depending on how it's bogging.

one, the air fuel is probably way off. the o2 sensor will continue to make the motor run really rich = less power
plus it's a b16 in a heavy chassis. you won't have much acceleration from the get go

Ok heres a little more details. b16a, turbo, fmu, stock fuel pump, tial wastegate, new spark plugs and wires, new dizzy cap, o2 sensors or wideband not bunged in yet, o2 sensors are hooked up just sitting there though. When I start the car it starts fine, has 18 vaccum everything is good exept that if you give it throttle it lags and just sputters. You have to ease in the pedal very very slowly and it goes straight out of vac. to 0 and then as soon as you try to move it it starts to go right into boost. What could this be????????? please help!
I understand thats why its sputtering but why would it go straight to vac. into boost?? It has no vaccum while just cruising straight up boost
You need to have everything in place and tuned before I would worry to much about it. It's hard to diagnose problems without key items being done; o2, tuning, etc.
Also have you done a Valve adjustment? If they're not timed properly, it wont run properly. Once you have everything connected, if its still running like ***, check your timing, that one's pretty straight forward. Good luck :D
No valve adjustment. Why would I need to do that?? And the afr's are in the 10's haha and no its obd-0 someone said to do a check valve before map because my map is on the firewall but i teed one in before MAP and the only thing it did was prevent a CEL
If you're running a legit setup, you shouldn't need the check valve. With that installed, your MAP won't know how much boost is there. 10 a/f is kinda rich.
OBD-0 code 13 is still BARO sensor.
OBD-0 code 13 is still BARO sensor.
What do you mean a "legit setup" im just trying to get by with no tune as of now just basics (fmu, wideband, and just ordered fpr) So how do I fix the code 13?
By legit I mean a complete, done right system. The check valve could be causing problems until you get your setup finished. To fix the code you have to replace the sensor.
Ok I'll look into that, could it be timing at all? I'm pretty sure when I did my head gasket timing was right on everything but just askin if that could cause running rich or bad throttle..
