Default Water Pipe all the same?

I'm looking to do an LS-V setup. I can get a hold of a bare b18a1 block. Only question I have is will the b16 water pipe/termo housing fit the b18a1 block?

It'll fit, but you may have an extra port for the oil cooler coolant line.

Yeah, you can swap over the oil cooler and water tube as long as you hook up all the hoses.

aaahh... found the answer...after observing and observing...

i personally cant use my "stock gsr" oil cooler on my B18A1

i put on my gsr water pipe...and i needed a place to hook up the last hose...
apperantly my ls block doesnt have this pipe fitting where that last hose would hook up to..
only 94-95 gsr's and all itr's came with that pipe fitting on the block...and i think some b16's...

heres the pic of a 94-95 gsr block (got it from yahoo images lol..)

heres a pic of the ls engine..with that fitting blocked off.. so no oil cooler for me...i'm going to use the ls water pipe... leaves me no choice...

hmm...but to answer your specific question..
you can use the b16 water pipe and thermostat housing... but you cannot use the oil cooler... you're gonna come accross this exact problem..lol... just cancel the extra water exits on your water pipe.. the rest should bolt right up... :D

I'll probably end up tapping the block and throwing on a fitting. should work.
