Whats wrong with my integra? vtec used to kick in at the right time, now it feels/sounds like it kicks in 300-400 rpm higher than what it should be. What could cause this? All I have is a intake/header and i never had this problem before.

the oil didnt even read on the bottom of the dip stick. if i was that low on oil why didnt the oil light come on O_O. just put two quarts in and its a little over half on the dip stick tube reading between the low and high mark.

 

My motor eats oil, oil light never comes on.. just have to train yourself to check it regularly...

the only time my oil light came on my oil was bone dry... i mean BONE DRY
It was the day after my motor was built, the vtec line blew, and spit all my oil out

 

I haven't driven my integra in almost roughly half a year and forgot to check the oil. I've washed it, clean the interior, engine bay, installed a hid kit and springs but I forgot the most important thing. Motor oil X_X

 

What kinda teg is it?

 

itr. hence why i dont drive it much. too scared of thieves O_O
