yeah splice into your vtec wire and then ground the light that you are using to something. when vtec hits it completes the circuit and will remain on until vtec is off again.

It does serve a purpose, it lights up when you're in VTEC.

it doesnt serve a purpose? what if you are running multiple ecu programs with different vtec engagements? say for testing purposes... it could serve a purpose, especially if your car is stock and you arent good at listening for it. and im pretty sure most ricers would have a vtec light without the vtec so they can claim it. it sounds like a legit mod to me.

well actually its for a bunch of things...the LED is gonna be white (CUZ IM NOT RICE ) Lately the VTEC engagement has been very smooth and Im not even sure if its engaging right now and im feeling very slight lags in power, that I'm trying to tune my VTEC engagment point for max power, and its just pretty cool

I think its rice if it has no purpose but to let your passengers know... "whoa! VTEC has kicked in!" For those who have modded their car and can no longer "hear" VTEC, it could be a tuning mod. I thought it was rice before too until my buddies VTEC solenoid went out on him on his 98 teg.

Why the **** would you want a light that alerts you when you're in vtec? are you dumb, stupid, or a ricer.. or all of the above? spend your money and time on something more worth while

:\ I'm just tired of seeing 'rice' thrown around for just about everything that someone has a different opinion about. Keep in mind I am totally against rice 'mods' in every way, shape, and form but I think calling a little vtec light rice is taking it a little overboard.
