Default Vtec

okay so i have a 1.6 block with a 1.8 gsr head. Well today my vtec stopped working at 5 grand. Any suggestions on how I can get it working again. One of my friends said it happened to them before and it worked the next day, but Im not sure if I will get that lucky too. Any suggestions or past experiences?

Thanks

well next time your check engine light comes on, be sure to check it. Low oil is not fun for your bearings

Vtec wont work when theres a CEL present...check oil pressure, obviously vtec wont work without enough oil to push the lma over...and check ur knock sensor...vtec runs off of a knock signal
