well, ive heard of alot of stories of cops harassing us integra owners because of mis matching vins. here is my problem. The previous owner of my car did a tan to black int conversion. now this isnt the problem, the problem was that he didnt swap the vin number , or at least keep the plate, for me to put on the black dash.. so now ive got a different vin on my dash... the tan dash with my original vin is long gone... what options do i have? i really dont know what to do, and i would hate to have my car confiscated / impounded / because of a miserable vin tag that the previous owner was too ignorant to take the extra 5 mins to swap out.

 

yeah, especially since you live in cali you propably will get put through some for that.

you may be able to ask at the DMV for a solution, or you can try asking a dealer. or you may get lucky and get an answer here! not likely though.
