I'm trying to locate the VIN number on the engine block. I found the motor number.

I bought a theft recovery and it has a GSR motor, but I'm trying to locate the where the VIN number is.

I went to an Acura dealership and they were no help.

 

94 and 95 tegs didnt have vins on the block.. if its 96 and up, it should be on the lower front, on the header side. Right above the oil pan

Just FYI, Mine was covered in road grime. I did not know it was even there for a long time. Once I sprayed a bunch of gunk on it and gave it a scrub it came up.

It will look just like a tranny vin tag. Green in color with 2 rivots

 

Yeah... That's exactly the case for my engine VIN.

It just kind of sucks that the acura dealership was completely no help when I even drove integra up there to ask them.
