valvetrain
Yes you will need a new valvetrain to rev up to 9000 but first you might want to buy some more mods such as cam gears, fpr, a header, new cat and get to the dyno before you rev your car that high to see if your making good numbers that high up in the rpm range, dont just buy cams and rev to 9000 thinking your making good numbers off the butt dyno.

TegLover - just pick yourself up some Skunk2 Valvesprings and Retainers. You can rev to 9k just fine with that -- but youll only make power to about 9k...and there will be no need to rev above that with stage 1's.

Revving up to 9000rpm depends on the tuning of your car. If your dyno starts to level off before 9000k then there is no point revving any higher. So I recommend doing alot of research about what it takes to run your car to 9000k.
