what's the best book for detailed instructions on valve adjustments and such?

Helms is good for instructions. Chiltons is good for pics and actually doing it.

Have both.... it'll help whatever you do.

Haha, I bet you're one of those guys that goes to the Full Service gas pump jsut so you don't screw things up.

Wow, well I had it done at the acura dealer for 60 bucks and for that price, after doing many valves on honda motorcycles, it's just a no brainer.

The only full service I get is from my girlfriend, BTW.

Some people would rather spend the $$ for the convience... but I would never take my car to the dealer for the "scheduled tune-ups". Show some damn love here.
