Using ITR rear section....

Using ITR rear section....
I'm going to install an ITR rear section onto my custom B-pipe. I was wondering if the rear section flange is a bottle neck... my options are to cut off the flange and just weld the rear section onto my b-pipe or to weld a flange onto my b-pipe so I can bolt the itr rear section on. What do you guys think? Thanks
