Default Upon searching..........

alright guys iv searched and really havent found what im looking for. i now currently have a 00 jizzer and im wanting to make it into one hella mean NA car. I'm looking at either some skunk2 stage 3 cams or the Crower 63413-2 cams (Crowers stage 3 vtec cams). I know if i go with either of these cams im going to have to bump my compression up... a lot so my questions.

I'm wanting to go with the CTR pistons, is there any thing i really need to know before i purchase these cams? as like octane levels ect ect. also would i need like a hondata or something to tune it with? how well of a daily driver will the gsr be with the ctr pistons until i get the stage 3 cams? also how reliable are we looking at here?

I've seen cars with PCT's and JUN 3's that were excellent daily drivers. The cams you are looking at are in the same ballpark so it's a valid point of reference. I personally wouldn't go quite so crazy with the compression (see the sticky at the top of the all motor forum), I'd worry more about flow.

well iv been reading on here that said with the stage 3's that the jdm itr pistons just really arent enough to make full potential out of the these stage 3's that iv picked out. would the 1.1 compression difference between the ctr and the jdm itr pistons really make that big of a difference?

could someone please hlep me out. the only thing that im worried about is it breaking everytime i take it out. im wanting a very very aggressive na gsr that will wind out to about 10 maybe 10500 thats still very reliable and a daily driver.
