Type R cams?
sup people. will i just bought some ITR camshafts for 200 bucks. is that a good price for the cams? and i just want to know if they will make some hp. it's going on a b17a1. thanx.
The valve-train isn't absolutely necessary, there is no actual evidence that not using the R valve-springs will be detrimental to the engine longevity, but most people recognize that Honda equipped the R cars with better valve-springs for a very good reason. I wouldn't risk it, but its not going to burn your engine up (I don't think).

what worries me is that you bought it without knowing what it would do.
