Default Turbo help

I'm sick of getting beat by civics, so I've decided to go turbo. But, I don't want to go too big. I just want something that is going to give me a little extra oomph. I usually get beat after third gear. So I want to stop that, but this is my car throughout college so I can't put too musch boost on it (can't afford repairs). Basically what I'm askin is what would be a good, cheap, and reliable, way to b oost. Like what kind of turbo and intercooler and whatever else I need.
Thanks for all your help,
Ben

Do a search there are many people with different turbo setups anything you want to know about forced induction is a click away.

not to be a dick but the search button will help you more than anything else. There are so many great threads that are archived/

my opinion though is to save until you can do it right, dont half *** it.

Take warning then when u start to tinker on a car with things like turbo there are alot more things that can go wrong. so if u cant afford to be fixing your car with randome things going wrong i wouldidnt suggest it. if u want a nice low boost set up take a look at greddy.

how much is cheap? if you're really on a budget do a junkyard setup, or you can piece together a low budget setup....check out the FI classifieds

example: project dc2 manifold: 275, t3 turbo 300-400, dsm side mount intercooler 50-100...etc

or go supercharged, jackson racing with some high boost pulleys could make some mouths open not to mention no fmic which means your car wont have as much chance to be stolen, ^_^
