on the way to work today my check engine light came on and instantly my motor shut off. i pulled over check to make sure i had a good connection on my spark plug wires, everything was tight. checked the oil and it was a little low. tired to start it again and it started fine. put oil in and it has been doin fine all day.

the question is. what could have caused that? i havent checked the plugs cause im at work, but curious if anyone out there has had that happen or knows what i could be.

my car has never been the same since it got stolen and i got it back

 

i was gonna change my plugs and wires anyways. what kind aplugs should i run in a 95 1.8 ls?

What was the weather like, was it damp and or raining? If its was its most likely bad ignition componants, i.e. bad cap, rotor or plug wires. I would recomend replacing these along with the sparkplugs.

 

weather was nice little chilly but not damp. probaly gonna start with ign. componets though thanx for the imput
