I have a 95 ls auto. When it shifts it shifts kind of late and kind of hard when it's just warmed up. any ideas on problem???

 

its probably starting to go, did you change the fluid and do a flush???

yeah, it improved. it was alot worse, I had a broken motor mount, and my cam timing was off. had work done and it felt alot better, but not completely gone.

 

It's pretty hard to tell with automatic transmissions...that is until they actually die.

Maybe try taking it to an actual transmission shop and have them do a diagnostic. Shouldn't be more than like $50-75 or so.
