tips on changing head gasket
I know how do do everything except making sure the timing belt is timmed right when i put the head back on. any suggestions on how i can mark the timing belt to properly align the timing?
easiest way is to make sure the motor is at tdc when you take it apart. The timing marks on both cams will line up together in the middle )- -(
When you put the cams back in, just make sure the marks are back pointing at each other.
I've done both the tdc way and the marking the belt and gears. My opinion is the tdc way is best/easiest.
