tinted windshield

anyone have this? does it even exist? I called around and no one has it. My current windshield have a crack and need dire replacement

from what i know, it is illegal in most states to have a tinted windshield.
what does dire replacement mean?

yeah you better replace that. if you park in the sun...that crack can expand.

dire means like a warning of something happening - like a disaster...so i guess she meant it as replacing it before it gets worst?

whoops, I meant SMOKED windshield. You know how those bmw have those bluish tint on their window? that's that's what I meant.

When I said in need of dire replacement, I meant it's illegal to drive around with a cracked windshield. I was given a ticket in the past for it on another car.

well its really dangerous if you get in an accident with a cracked windshield. imagine all that glass going into your eyes/face, cutting and scarring it.
