i just pulled my ls motor out of my dc today and im putting in a b18c
my question is: will my stock throttle cable work on the gsr motor.
i bought it from a kid that had it in a 96 civic hatch. and i dont think
the throttle bracket is in place. any suggestions on how i should go about
this for now.

 

(not to ***** the thread or anything, but this is along the same lines.. just backwards!)
i have a gsr and i am putting a single stage mani in, so do i need to get a type r / ls throttle cable or can i stick with my gsr cable?

yeah umm, its really up to you. you can use the stock GSR cable and bracket, but it will look a little goofy and stick out/rub on the hood a little, but it will work fine. as for the GSR strut bar ( if u have it) it wont fit on a ITR style IM with the stock GSR bracket.

i got my ITR throttle cable, bracket and 2 yellow zinc bolts to hold the bracket down for $32 shipped. ALL brand new OEM in honda bags with honda part nubmers

Youll need a gsr cable to reach properly, i dont cost to much

just get a new cable from a gsr, I used the cable from a front clip,I didnt think it would fit. it looked to short,but it barely made it
