Default thermostat sensor plug

I changed my thermostat today and somehow the wires that go into the plug that connects to the ECT got ripped out. One of the wires is totally ripped out and the other one is only connected by a strand or two. Unfortunately they ripped right out of the back of the plug so there is no room to just solder them back together. How can I fix this? Do I need to just buy a plug off someone that has long enough wires to solder or can I somehow connect the wires back into the plug? I was thinking maybe being able to take the pins out and uncrimp them and put the wires back on and crimp them again. Would that work or should I be looking for a new plug?

And until I fix this will the car even be driveable? I need the car and if I cant fix my plug so the wires go back into it I'm not sure what I'm going to do until I find a plug. Help me out guys!

if you just pulled the wires out of the plug and the little metal clips are still on the end, you can pop them back in.

No, the wires broke off right at the plug. Can I take the pins out and uncrimp them and then recrimp them again with the wire back in the pin? Or should I just be looking for a new plug with long enough wires to solder to?
