Thermal Wrap
how much of a heat difference does thermal wrap on a header do for an engine bay. does this really work good? would you guys recommend one, and which one??? Don't kno too much about heat transfer.
Id say it works well....I just bought some. The two things I have been worned off, 1) dont wrap near welds, and 2) spray the headers down with an anti-rust sealant. Speculation has it that wrap can cause them to rust. Its cheap too.

I wouldn't recommend header wrap for a ceramic coated header. Header wrap has been known to cause cracking on ceramic coated headers because of the mild steel used. If you header is SS, then its not worth wrapping because SS is a poor conductor of heat relative to other steels. However, if your header is cast iron, then header wrap may be beneficial.
